An excellent opportunity is now available at a San Francisco Bay Area Medical Center actively seeking a Pediatric Nurse Educator.
The Pediatric Educator will have the opportunity to provide overall educational direction to all aspects the Pediatric department of the hospital.
The Pediatric Nurse Educator will report to the Director of Education and will provide educational support to Nurses and Nurse Practitioners. The Pediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist develop core curriculum and oversee in-service trainings, orientation and continuing education programs across multiple clinical units in the Pediatric Department.
The Pediatric Services Education Leader will lead the education of the Registered Nurses and members of the Patient Care Services team in the analysis of medical issues relating to the pediatric care. The Pediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist also oversees the continuum of patient care, helping to develop a plan of care, responding to any related interventions, and assessing the patients response to care.
The Nurse Educator Pediatrics must have previous experience working as a Nurse Educator or Clinical Specialist, hold previous clinical experience working in Pediatrics, Pediatrics Emergency or Pediatric ICU department, along with their active Registered Nurse License (may obtain correct state license prior to starting) and BSN (master’s preferred).
