Job Description

TEKsystems is seeking an experienced Lead Cable Technician to join our cabling division for the exciting Titan's Stadium construction project in downtown Nashville. This is a long-term opportunity to work on high-profile projects and develop your skill set in the low voltage industry. As a Lead Cable Technician, you will: + Install cable pathways including trays, J-hooks, and other supports. + Pull Category 6+ cable and fiber optic cable. + Terminate faceplates and jacks. + Lead a small team of helpers or work independently depending on project needs. + Receive daily direction and training from an onsite lead. Projects will vary across Nashville, but major work will be downtown. Depending on the schedule, you will either meet onsite or at the shop before heading to the job site. Required Skills + Cable installation and pulling (Cat6 and fiber) + Structured cabling + Low voltage systems + Ability to use hand tools, drills, and related equipment Top Skills + Cable, Cat6, Cabling, Cable Installation, Install, Cable Puller, Structured Cabling, Low Voltage, Cat 6 Cables Additional Qualifications + Timely and dependable + Self-starter with strong work ethic + Reliable transportation Experience Level Intermediate - Prior experience with low voltage cabling or electrical work Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Nashville, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
