The University of Cincinnati (UC) is classified as a Doctoral University, Highest Research Activity, by the Carnegie Commission. The Lindner College of Business is part of a comprehensive research institution that is the second largest state university in Ohio, with a total enrollment of over 50,000 students. The College enrolls approximately 4,000 undergraduates and 1,100 master’s students (including online), and our programs are fully accredited by the AACSB. The Department has twelve full-time tenured or tenure-track faculty members as well as eleven educator faculty in the areas of organizational behavior, strategy, international business, and entrepreneurship. We also have an active doctoral program that ranges from 40 to 50 students within the college and 6-9 students within the department.
Our faculty members are actively engaged in research and publish in the leading journals, including: Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of Management, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Organization Science, Organizational Research Methods, Personnel Psychology, and Strategic Management Journal. In addition to a strong research culture, our Department is committed to quality teaching.

The Department of Management of the University of Cincinnati’s Lindner College of Business is seeking applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate faculty position in the area of strategy, intended to begin in Fall 2025. Rank is commensurate with credentials.
