Cornell Health's Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) offers confidential counseling services, designed to help students with mental health concerns that may be affecting their quality of life and ability to learn. Our providers include psychologists, social workers, and mental health counselors from diverse cultural and clinical backgrounds. CAPS providers value students in all of their individuality, and are committed to welcoming all people with respect and sensitivity. Our providers regularly collaborate with Cornell Health's diverse array of healthcare providers as an integrated service that support both the mind and the body.The Assistant Director of Counseling & Psychological Services - Embedded Services provides organizational leadership in university mental health initiatives in collaboration with the Director and other members of the CAPS leadership team. Specifically, this position oversees the development, implementation, and on-going maintenance of embedded clinical services and sites throughout campus, working to establish strong working partnerships with academic colleges and units. In addition, the Assistant Director guides the vision for on-going staff development, supervises a team of Counselor Therapist staff, and also provides direct clinical services.
